Hahnemann has discussed in detail about few of these methods like use of chemistry, botany, law of signature etc. in his essay on- “The New Principle for ascertaining the curative power of drugs” published in 1796. Ayurveda as practiced in India was probably not known to him. Our findings suggest and prove that by incorporating Ayurveda, herbal and eclectic knowledge the language of homoeopathic Materia Medica becomes easy to comprehend. Medicines can be prescribed, repeated in a much better way and that too in combination to enhance the process of cure. “When we know the true indications of the remedies, prescribing for the sick becomes science; not an art.
